Hotel Reservations:
Most of the group will be staying at the New Haven Village Suites, telephone (203) 777-5337. When making your reservation ask for the “Skyview Deal” to receive a special room rate that was negotiated for this event. Those rates should be approximately $155 to $165 per night.
The hotel will be providing transportation between the train and the hotel (twice) for a fee of approximately $100.00. We will pitch in to cover that cost. Depending on how many people are traveling, a number of drivers will rent cars Friday morning and we will drive the gang up to Newington for fun and games. We will drive back to New Haven to have dinner and drop off the rental cars. Rental car costs will be shared between riders.
* It is best to make all of your arrangements ASAP as the train will fill up and prices will increase as time gets closer. Also, the hotel may run short on rooms despite having a block of 20 reserved. Do it early!
